Automation QA Engineer (mid level)

Job Brief

For the QAs who already have decent testing skills and have some experience in the field. We believe we can give you that next step! We’ll start by building some sick development skills, while driving process and product improvements covering both back-end and front-end work. You will also be helping junior teammates in guiding their QA skill development. This role is also great for helping you get familiar with the basics of software architecture and key design patterns. You'll be handling the API testing, UI automation if you wish to, and we are giving the autonomy to establish automation practices along with our team to ensure seamless work.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and documents automation test cases for UI and API
• Independently tests information systems in compliance with and based on the provided specifications
• Participates in compiling test specifications
• Develops, communicates and documents the testing process
• Automates tests, draw up the specifications of their automation, develops the appropriate infrastructure
• Cooperates with engineers and architects, informs them about the identified problems and provides documentation on how to reproduce the issues
• Has an expert knowledge of more complex information systems and the performance principles thereof

Requirements

• Specific higher education in IT ( optional )
• 2-4 years of work experience in the QA field is required
• Attention to details
• Very good understanding of the SDLC
• Can follow through with clear and concise reasoning
• Motivation and a desire to deliver the best QA work
• Knowledge of Gatling, SonarQube, Allure (are a plus)
• Proficient English level language skills
